Doggie Easter Bonnets or Your Dog Is Not A Rabbit

People may look cool in Easter bonnets, but dogs rarely do.  I take that back. Once in a while a straw hat or interesting beret will work for your pooch, but stay away from the rabbit ears.Your dog is not a rabbit. Don’t embarrass him.  Have a look at these pictures and you’ll see what I mean.  Happy Easter folks and enjoy the Easter Parade!

This may not be rabbit ears, but it is almost as bad, dontchathink? A dog is not a flower, nope he’s not.

This is actually not too bad in spite of the frou frou hat. St. Bernards know how to keep their dignity intact. These are the guys that run around the Alps with little brandy kegs around their necks, after all.

OK  I saved the best for last.  This is the ultimate silly rabbit ears doggie bonnet. Just look at the look on Fido’s face. He’s being a good sport, but he can’t wait till all this is over and he can have a nice roll in the mud.

BTW,  it’s not just dogs who look silly in rabbit ears at the Easter Parade. Flopsy and Mopsy should have stuck with straw brims and flowers. I do have to admit, though, that they look like they are having fun, which is more than can be said for most of the dogs.
